Dr. Eugenie W.M. Wu
Eugenie was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from high school, she went to the United States to do a Biology degree at The Ohio State University. While taking the pre-vet curriculum, Eugenie also focused on evolution, ecology, organismal biology, and took a special interest in ethology. During her 3 years in the states, Eugenie volunteered at the university vet hospital, wildlife center as well as various animal shelters. That’s when she knew that becoming a vet is what she really wanted to do.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree with honors, Eugenie went to the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom to pursue her dreams of becoming a vet. She developed particular interests in surgery, diagnostic imaging, as well as animal behavior.
Eugenie returned to her home, Hong Kong, after graduating from the Glasgow vet school in 2012, and joined the PAVC straight away to fulfill her dreams of helping animals in need.
